If you thought the chart domination of The Weeknd’s new album, ‘Starboy,’ was limited to the Billboard 200, you are sorely mistaken.

For, much like his fellow Canadian entertainer/‘Live For’ co-star Drake, The Weeknd – whose real name is Abel Tesfaye – has made history as the fourth artist (second male vocalist) to ever simultaneously place every song from one album on the Hot 100.

Billboard reports:

Additionally, all 18 songs from Starboy chart on the Hot 100; with 18 total tracks on the Dec. 17 chart, The Weeknd posts the second-most simultaneous entries in the Hot 100’s 58-year history; only Drake tallied more at the same time: 20 on the May 21 chart.

Find out where they (and all your other favorites from the day) landed on the refreshed TGJ Chart Check [Hot 100] below:

Justin Bieber and Beyonce, with hits from the ‘Purpose’ and ‘Lemonade’ albums respectively, can also boast simultaneous placement of all songs from one album on the Hot 100.

They’ll fall right off next week. And he still couldn’t top the chart with all that hype.

This is the dumbest feat ever. Records are not records anymore. They’re nonsense

      Stfu.

Absolutely. Absurd. The only real record broken recently is that of Adele´s first week sales, or her two diamond albums in this day and age. I don´t acknowledge any othe record. This is propaganda. They can invent a thousand records following this logic 🙂 #strugglingtimesfortheindustry

    That’s awesome

  6. RihYonce December 7, 2016

Party Monster , I feel It Coming , Attention, Reminder , Sidewalks , Die For You , & Six Feet Under are constantly on repeat for me ??

Why are people so bothered by record’s? Record’s were ment to be set and broken. Im sure at some point in time every record seemed ridiculous and pointless. Get over it. An artist charting 10 or more songs is an achievement. If it was common and easy we’d have loads of Artist with these record’s. Only Drake, Abel, Justin, Beyonce and Taylor have this kind of achievement.

Funny how you beyonce fans never apply this logic when Rihanna is setting/breaking records.

  8. ???????Chile, take this “Itty Bitty Piggy” to the market and make sure you hold her hand while crossing the street!??????? December 7, 2016

He even had a higher first weeks sales than Bruno too. I know he must be pissed as hell. This, ladies and gentlemen, is why you shouldn’t wait too long to release new original music, aside from features to remain relevant. Katy’s been scared under a bus straight into hidimg and I’m pissed off at her for not releasing this year. She’s a fool to wait to go against Taylor next year.

    • SMH December 7, 2016

Lol oh please, he only beat Bruno by like 5K. That’s nothing to be “pissed” about.

  10. King December 7, 2016

Good for him. No he’s not the king of r&b yet he only has two albums. Get a lifez

  11. Roc December 7, 2016

Didnt MJ ACTUALLY do this will Thriller back when the charts were real? I guess not simultaneously?

    • JOHNVIDAL December 7, 2016

I don´t think this thing could happen back then? I thought they had to release the single to radio. If that were the case, this supposed record breakers wouldn´t be breaking anything (as we all know, they are not breaking any damn serious thing, except for Adele). I mean, they are nothing compared to Michael´s success (and others of that caliber).

    • SMH December 7, 2016

No, because talent back then didn’t need Billboard rearranging the chart rules every week to make their records, their talent and music was enough.

  12. December 7, 2016
