The L’s just keep getting handed to ‘Victory’ singer Kim Burrell.
The embattled gospel singer, whose anti-LGBT sermon from last week landed her in hot water with the community and its supporters, is continuing to see endorsements snatched from her. After learning her appearance on ‘Ellen’ had been cancelled, the revered songstress learned her radio and television programming had been snatched from their respective points of air.
As if that wasn’t enough, yesterday she was greeted with news from BMI that she’d been uninvited from an awards ceremony honoring songwriters.

Gospel singer Kim Burrell has lost her radio show amid backlash over homophobic remarks she made during a church sermon in Texas.
Burrell, who came under fire for referring to gay people as “perverted,” will no longer host her show Bridging the Gap with Kim Burrell on Texas Southern University’s KTSU-FM 90.9, the school said in a statement to theAssociated Press.
In September, her TV talk show, “Keep it Moving with Kim Burrell,” premiered on CW 39. As of Wednesday night [Jan 4], the program was not listed on the station’s log of TV shows.
