Donald Trump, the deeply divisive and KKK-approved President-elect, has found a friend and supporter in the R&B singer Chrisette Michele.
Unable to secure any A-List performers to honour him at his inauguration on the 20th, Trump has enlisted the services of Ms. Michele who has agreed to endorse his values by performing on the night.
We’re told that the deal was reached a week ago, but has been kept “a big secret” because Michelle’s camp feared the seven days of criticism that would surely lead up the the divisive President-elect’s big day. They became especially concerned when Jennifer Holliday, who’d committed to performing for PEOTUS last week, withdrew amidst heavy pressure on Monday, citing “a lapse of judgment.
The publication adds that she was called on to perform at the event alongside ‘Intentional’ with singers Travis Greene, Jonathan McReynolds, and Tye Tribbett.
Alas, Greene, McReynolds and Tribbett rejected the offer as Michele agreed to go it alone with an R&B set.
Catch her in action when the event kicks off on January 20th.
