After soaring all up, through, and across Houston’s NRG Stadium at last Sunday’s Super Bowl 51, Lady Gaga has taken similar flight on sales and streaming formats.
Seeing her latest effort, ‘Joanne,’ jump to #1 on iTunes album charts just an hour after her set finished, its latest single – ‘Million Reasons’ – mirrored the move by moseying to the perch of the iTunes singles charts (click here to read more).
Now, analysts are trying to forecast how those numbers will translate to Hot 100 and Billboard 200 placements. And, if their predictions are on the money, Gaga will be making a serious shakeup on next weeks charts.

Lady Gaga will have at least three albums on Friday’s charts with Joanne, her latest, headed for the Top 5. And “Million Reasons” is looking to become the week’s #1 selling single.
Joanne is looking at a tally of at least 50-55k all in, which would put it in the Top 5 [next week].
At Spotify, the songs performed at Super Bowl LI were up 674% and “Born This Way” was up 1,085%. Gaga’s catalog has seen an increase of 605%.
Word has it by the end of the tallying week ‘Million Reasons’ could sell nearly 140k thanks to a timely $.69 sale at iTunes. The report above follows the Billboard report:
Based on initial sales reports collected for Sunday, the diva sold about 150,000 digital albums and songs in the U.S. on Feb. 5 — an increase of a little more than 1,000% compared to the previous day, when she sold around 15,000 digital albums and songs.
In total on Sunday, Gaga sold over 125,000 song downloads — up about 960 percent compared to the previous day (a little more than 10,000 sold). Further, with just one day of sales, “Million Reasons” scores its best sales week ever.
