A new report from the industry bible Hits Daily Double reveals that Apple Music gave the Canadian performer $20 million to create his #1 album ‘Views’ and offer it to them as an exclusive.
How long it took them to recoup their spend?
60 days.
The set opened with pure sales of 852,000 units and has gone on to move 4 million units (sales and streams included) since April 29th 2016.

That’s why it was a snorefest lol…he definitely didn’t sell them his best album, but he gave them alot of material…it was a business move, and it sounded that way…the songs sounded safe like he was channeling his inner Adele 25, no shade…it was music for a bigger audience, or for new fans who were buying a Drake album for the first time…Views From The Check lol
I think this will album will be better than views. I think he knows that his fans want the old Drake back. I’m pretty sure he’s trying something different based on the features but we will see. I always liked drake prior to Views “sneaking” and “fake love” are dope songs so I think I will like this album
Drake makes catchy music and he doesn’t try to be something he’s not. The queens on here love to hate on him, but he’s striking the iron while it’s hot. Drake has definitely solidified his place in the music industry.
