Another winning track.

Though perhaps wordy for a single, it packs a potent punch and confirms that the album will bring sonic variety to the table.

I have goosebumps all over my skin…this is what I’m talking about! I just love seeing my people display creativity. This visual is so praiseworthy. And the song is everything. I especially love the fact that he didn’t try to political or too serious with the theme and just gave us a bomb asz track. 9/10 from me

At first I was like “ehh” then half way through the track my head started nodding. I like it and the lyrics are honest.

  3. Mark111 /.\ March 30, 2017

The vocal production sounds muffled, not clear at all.

kind of like your avi when you had a selfie in it.

      • Mark111 /.\ March 30, 2017

      • Danzou March 30, 2017

You might just need to clean the wax out of your ears. The vocal production is very clear to me. What exactly sounded “muffled”?

  6. Liam March 30, 2017

This is ?…. This is the Mary I love Kanye did the thing with this production.

  7. dee March 30, 2017

Not feeling it. The production is a bit busy. The Kanye horns are a bit dated.

  8. Casual-T March 30, 2017

The chorus melody seemed a little forced and not intuitive, but it grows on you after a few times. Overall, this is a hit. Fresh for real.

  9. Odor March 30, 2017

Love it! I love the melody. The dark chords in the beginning. The chorus is HOT! And empowering! It’s definitely grown folk music. Some of y’all are stuck on the simplicity of today’s market. It’s a shame.

    Great album opener

  12. Jasmine March 31, 2017

I like it but the song is missing something. Perhaps another rapper or a verse from Mary rapping would have made this song hotter.

  13. Beyoncé Jackson March 31, 2017

    This song is the TRUTH!
The beat, the lyrics, her approach….. I’m feeling it!!!
