This week, seventeen new adds keeps ‘Frauds’ on the throne as ten new adds for her Jason Derulo-led ‘Swalla’ see her extend her reach over Urban-geared stations.

I don’t like Nicki Minaj as an artist. But I am proud of her accomplishments. I may “drag” her (mostly due to her dumbo fans) but I do recognize her achievements. And I HATE using the “race card” but it is what it is… This world is ran by high powered racist whites and it’s very impressive seeing a person of color, achieve any type of success, in this sick twisted world we live in. I still don’t like her “music” tho. But to be fair, I don’t like most of today’s music, and that includes the new stuff from my fave Mariah too. It’s just ugly. But congrats on her success.
Her achievements ain’t s*** in the grand scheme of hip hop music itself. You only recognize her because she’s a successful black woman, that’s it. There are more deserving black women to recognize out there. Nicki actually sets black women back and enables those high powered racist whites you speak of to only market “her kind” to the world; fake ass, fake everything. How are other female rappers, especially darker-skinned, more naturally voluptuous ones, supposed to compete with talent alone if all that’s being pushed the masses are light-skinned, pointy nosed chicks with fake asses like Nicki? We need more successful Lauryn Hill-type rappers in this generation. We truly lowered our standards.
