Buckle up because the BET Awards are bringing the fire for their 2017 ceremony.
Set to air live June 25th from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, it has been confirmed that the Leslie Jones hosted show will feature performances from some of Urban music’s most notable talent.
The initial wave of names taking to the stage are Bruno Mars, Tamar Braxton, Migos, Trey Songz, and Future. Additional performers will be unveiled in the run-up to Urban music’s biggest calendar night.
As reported, Beyonce leads the pack of nominees with seven while Mars follows with five. Solange and the omnipresent Migos each have four.
Stay tuned to That Grape Juice for your complete BET Awards 2017 fix!
So far I’m here for this line up. BET awards has been one of the best with live performances in recent years lowkey.
IM HERE FOR THE LINE UO SO FAR!! AND THATS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG, C** THRU BET!!
Bruno mars gets the best of both worlds
His music is more urban this last album. He is serving New Edition influence and style the entire album.
They need to add Solange to that performance list
…for what? A presenter?
agree’d her and Letoya Luckett
She is not doing anything. She will perform.
I hope LeToya Luckett gets to perform this year, her new album is lit. Its a lowkey banging R&B album.
It actually is
Tinashe and Kehlani need to be performing
Tinashe hasn’t released any r&b this era has
Kehlani agree W
What would Tinashe perform? She hasn’t had any hits the past 2 years.
Umm I thought you needed a hit to perform? Trey & Tamar? Ok..
If this is the case then Tinashe should perform a new single at the main show.
Why? Tamar and Trey are much more appealing than Tinashe at this point, are you serious right now? And how can you say you thought you had to have a hit to perform then recommend Tinashe of all artist, who is putting a new single every 2-3 months for an album that is constantly delayed. She hasn’t had a piece of a single since 2014. If they give another dance tribute, they call!
You thought wrong. All you need to do is have decent management and perform a tribute song.
ADD Fantasia and Solange and I will actually want to watch the entire programming.
WE WENT CBREEZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chris Brown is definitely performing at the BET Awards this year. He has an album to promote and he’s on a ton of features right now. Lol you already know BET worship the ground he walks on. Plus they’ve already added him to the celebrity basketball lineup this year. I’m also expecting Usher and Gucci to join him on stage since they haven’t done a televised performance for Party yet. Im also expecting Nicki Minaj and Kendrick Lamar to be added to the lineup too.
If Trey and Tamar nabbed a slot, Breezy who is 10 times bigger than the both of them combined will damn sure be performing that night. I also hope Ursha joins him on the stage to perform their new joint with Gucci. That’ll surely be the highlight of the night. I feel like Bey and Jay will attend that night too. This year bout to be litty???????
I agree because both put on a great show!!
Would love to see Kelly Rowland perform this year.
TBH I’m not here for Tamar’s live soprano & those faces she makes when she sings, she does put me in Muppet world alongside those facial expressions…
BET is one of the few awards shows someone like Tamar can perform so I think she should perform. However, I would much rather hear Toni Braxton perform than Tamar. I understand why Babyface and LA Reid picked Toni as a solo star and not her sisters. Toni had the it factor in the 90s and Tamar was just a try-hard artist in her prime. Now Tamar is an older try-hard artist without the vocal range she once possessed.
You sound like a salty (Lawry’s seasoning salt type salty) hater, say what you want about Tamar and her attitude but only a hater will come for her voice. She has a bigger vocal range than Toni t(hough I actually prefer Toni’s rich voice) and sings circles around your faves of today. She legit has the best voice out now but you’re hating talmabout she is a try hard with a limited range. Mmmkay girl ?
They should add Drake, Mary J., Faith Evans, Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Tribe Called Quest, Remy Ma, Tamela Mann, Fantasia to the performers list
