This Sunday brings with it the 2017 BET Awards and producers are bringing out even more superstars to mark the occasion.
Mary J. Blige leads the latest wave of names on the performer bill.
The newest bill adds reunited R&B outfit Xscape, Maxwell, SZA, A$AP Rocky, French Montana, Gucci Mane, Swae Lee, Khalid, El DeBarge and Kamasi Washington.
The group join previously announced performers Bruno Mars, Tamar Braxton, Trey Songz, Future, Migos.
Additional names recently confirmed to rock the house include Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Big Sean, Post Malone, Roman Gianarthur, and Lifetime Achievement recipients New Edition.
Comedienne Leslie Jones will host the BET Awards live from the Microsoft Theater on June 25th. Beyonce and Bruno Mars lead the nominations.

Well finally a reason to watch, other than New Edition being honored. Mary J will bring the fire to what looks like yet another tired awards show.
I think the show is only “tired” for those that actually watch the live broadcast. If you attend the show in person it is more interesting or if you watch the performances only online it is much much better than watching a stretched out awards show.

If TLC wanted to be at the BET awards they should have played their politics right. Chili saying “All Lives Matter” is a slap in the face of black people. You can’t have your cake and eat it to. Their album will flop and flop hard or it will get shelved and simply leaked free.

More than likely she will tape a couple acceptance speeches to air for the show. I don’t watch awards shows live unless I am there in person so the internet streams with the fast forward work for my needs.
They’re really pushing Khalid and his fake ass English accent. The Bryson Tiller of 2017, except people actually listened to Bryson’s debut outside of 2 songs.
