The X Factor has birthed many a major act and 5 After Midnight are hoping to be latest.
Finalists on the 2016 season of the UK show, the group were subsequently scooped up by Simon Cowell‘s Syco Music (via Sony) and are being tipped for huge success.
The trio, comprised of Kieron, Jordan, and Nathan, have recruited MNEK (Beyonce’s ‘Hold Up’) for their first swing of the bat and oh do they score a home-run.
Listen below…
A bop.
Slick production, a catchy chorus, and delicious use of the DMX sample, this has all the makings of a summer smash.
The boyband arena has been sparse in recent years, but it’s clear 5AM are aiming to making a major splash.
Could they be joining label-mates Little Mix and Fifth Harmony as the flag-flyers for top-tier groups? Let us know…
Sounds great to me!! ?
Love there ARCHed eyebrows and perfect lighting, yasssssssssss little girls.
Another tacky British pop act who will probably sell loads in the UK but do nothing elsewhere (see JLS and Little Mix).
Little MIx actually charted out here in the US a few time
So they’ve charted a couple of times. None of their songs have got higher than #67 and stayed on the chart longer than a few weeks
Awful. The U.K. really has some terrible taste in music. Corny af.
Is that why the biggest selling artists of this decade, male & female, is Adele & Ed Sheeran….. Oh… (tho i agree that when it comes to these manufactured bands Simon Cowell creates, they’re always corny, us Brits agree with you… but you was wrong about UK has bad taste, we’re lightyears ahead of the states, sorry)
You tell no lies.
