She seems down to earth but her album was blah imo. It was below basic expectations, I needed more “emph” but she’s not that type of artist. Good luck to her tho, the music industry is b*******, it’s crazy to see who blows up and fades out because it’s always backwards.
out of curiosity, who do you consider to be artists who provide that “umph”? who to you rises above that basic expectation bar? I am not by any means being shady or smart or trying to start anything. I really am interested in knowing who you consider to be those core singers/creators/performers…
her album is an incredible body of work — as was her debut LP release. I would love to see this project receive the 2018 Grammy recognition that it deserves. and yes…I too am very pleased with the visuals lifted from this sophomore studio project.

I want to know how Dawn Richard feel about SZA pushing through for a darker skin women. I know Dawn Richard music preferences is different from SZA. Dawn makes good music and is a dope artist, but I feel she could have went with the grain with current music. Right now SZA is representing for the darker girls.. I was just wondering.. even if Dawn felt some way..
