New Video: LeToya Luckett – ‘In The Name Of Love’

Published: Monday 31st Jul 2017 by Sam

LeToya Luckett has unveiled the final part of her ‘Back 2 Life’ album mini-movie.

Set to the track ‘In The Name Of Love,’ the 12-minute offering once again finds the Destiny’s Child original flexing her acting muscles.

In preceding parts, Toya and her bae (played by Thomas Jones) go from loving to loathing. But in this climax chapter, does true love triumph?

Watch below to find out…

Salute to LeToya for going all out with this, despite being independent.

Sure, we wish it was set to music that touched us the way her debut did, but there’s no denying her commitment to the cause.

Many an artist could and perhaps should take note of the way she’s pushing forward with promoting her product. Budgets, industry wide, may be dwindling, but that need not be a reason for lacking creativity.

Once again, much respect to Ms. Luckett.

This is a solid three part series. Her acting & vocals are amazing. Grey is one of my favorites. There is so much quality here that some of these major label acts are not getting.

Listen!!! She put together a VERY quality body of work! She deserves much more recognition than what she has received so far. All three parts were amazing. it’s great how she blended together her music and her acting. Her CD back 2 life is amazing also!

I think this was Letoyas best album to date She just supported it with weak singles. had she chose three other album songs besides the ones she released she would have saw a little success… but hey!

Weak single choice has been a problem for Latoya since “She Don’t” but I think overall the album is a step down from Lady Love. Many of the songs on B2L sound way too similar.

This 3 part video series was awesome though and I’m definitely proud to be a fan.

I LOOOOOOOVE Ms. Luckett. Her Ladylove CD is still one of the best to be released that year. I love her new CD and this video has my two FAVORITE songs from the new project. She is so on point her music NEVER disappoints!!!!

She is definitely living up to the wonderful talent that has come from Destiny’s Child. Say what you want about Destiny’s Child but that group has produced some great talent!!!

    Sooo pretty!
That hair and the 90’s look was great to see on her.
A 3 part storyline well told and engaging. That fkin Cyn kept popping up to get on my last nerve the bish.

Love Won. Proud of her despite not selling as well as I would’ve liked.
Want bit more of that H-Town chick swag she brings on the next project.
