The superstar singer premiered her ‘Five Foot Two’ documentary on the streaming platform last Friday and is already reaping the rewards.

Yours truly has long been an advocate for artists using envelop-pushing mediums towards the benefit of one’s music.
Netflix is unique in that they don’t publish viewer numbers, but it’s clear they have the reach to impact the music charts. Case in point, Gaga’s gargantuan leap.
Moving forward, we’d love to see more acts follow-suit and embrace the power and global penetration of video streaming platforms for concerts and specials of this ilk. And it seems the likes of Beyonce and Janet Jackson are gearing up to do exactly that.
