‘Look What You Made Me Do’ is exactly what Taylor Swift fans are saying to producer extraordinaire Diplo after he slammed the songstress’s latest chart-topper in a ‘Rolling Stone’ interview.

Taking to Rolling Stone, Diplo reportedly stated:
“Music is in the hands of the kids. Streaming is literally what kids want to listen to over and over again. They want to listen to ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Bodak Yellow.’ They don’t want to listen to, like, ‘Look What You Made Me Do.’ That music doesn’t relate to them at all. I don’t think it ever did. They were only given that by radio and marketing budgets. I’m impressed with Post Malone. I can relate to him more than Taylor Swift.”
Needless to say, Swift’s fans – affectionately called Swifties – weren’t here for the diss. Taking to his social media handles in droves, the group trended the hashtag #DiploIsOverParty on Twitter and posted snakes (a symbol Taylor is using for her reputation era) on his Instagram page:

I bought my first radio with money I earned when I was 5 in 1948, I bought it because music fascinated me. While my singing sounds a little like some one being skinned alive, and after years of piano lessons I can hit the correct notes, but with out inducing any emotions in the listener, no love or hate or pain, just dead notes.
I can say that I do not believe music has not gotten better or worse in the past 69 years. It has changed, but not as much as people think. In 48 it was about finding, and losing love, and happiness and pain, and it still is. The emotion you get out of music is what makes it good or bad for you. Part of the problem now is with the listeners. Most do not pay enough attention to the music they are hearing to hear the emotion the performer and song are trying to convey get to them. That is where Miss Swift is a genius, she can construct lyrics which are full of emotion. She can control her voice well enough to give that emotion to you like a gift. I feel sorry for those to deaf to receive it.
