Taylor Swift Fans Drag Diplo After He Slammed ‘Look What You Made Me Do’

Published: Monday 6th Nov 2017 by Rashad

‘Look What You Made Me Do’ is exactly what Taylor Swift fans are saying to producer extraordinaire Diplo after he slammed the songstress’s latest chart-topper in a ‘Rolling Stone’ interview.

Details inside:

Taking to Rolling Stone, Diplo reportedly stated:

“Music is in the hands of the kids. Streaming is literally what kids want to listen to over and over again. They want to listen to ‘Rockstar’ and ‘Bodak Yellow.’ They don’t want to listen to, like, ‘Look What You Made Me Do.’ That music doesn’t relate to them at all. I don’t think it ever did. They were only given that by radio and marketing budgets. I’m impressed with Post Malone. I can relate to him more than Taylor Swift.”

Needless to say, Swift’s fans – affectionately called Swifties – weren’t here for the diss.  Taking to his social media handles in droves, the group trended the hashtag #DiploIsOverParty on Twitter and posted snakes (a symbol Taylor is using for her reputation era) on his Instagram page:

The attack got so out of hand Diplo took to Twitter to respond:

Fans of Diplo know this isn’t the first time he’s had a run in with #Swifties.  Back in 2014 he landed on the stan group’s bad side when he jokingly started a fundraiser to “get Taylor Swift a booty.”

I don’t know. Being a fanatic fan club member doesn’t seem as unproductive as cutting holes into perfectly good sheets on the weekends and spending the remaining time as TGJ’s resident racist. Highkey, You do the same thing as these no life having stans. Only you do it here with a different form of expression and the same target. I don’t know what makes you think what you do is different. You have some nerve. By the way, what’s your rank?

      • S****** Blonde November 6, 2017

Seems like I hit a nerve, if you can’t relate with the BeyHive behavior, why are you so salty then?, keep scrolling down until you find a comment that pleases you, it’s simple ??‍♂️

Taylor makes music for basic white biitches and f****…that’s why her songs are popular. There are too many basic people in this world.

    • Your Mother November 6, 2017

Well I must be the blackest whitest b****. I am black and 45years old and I listen to Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber. They make clean music!!!!

    • Belladonna November 6, 2017

And your a ghetto homophobe how original! I’ll stick with having s** with men & loving Taylor’s music.

      • TRUTH SERUM November 6, 2017

You’re black, gay, unattractive, and self loathing. The stereotypes would write themselves. Fortunately for you, I have empathy for the poorly educated and self hating. You can love Taylor’s music and not put down others taste in music. White people please validate this child because you can tell that it’s tied to this person’s self esteem.

He is right about music being controlled by kids these days because of streaming. Can u imagine if Disney radio ruled the charts in the 90’s and early 2000’s?!?!

    • elharbe November 6, 2017

I bought my first radio with money I earned when I was 5 in 1948, I bought it because music fascinated me. While my singing sounds a little like some one being skinned alive, and after years of piano lessons I can hit the correct notes, but with out inducing any emotions in the listener, no love or hate or pain, just dead notes.

I can say that I do not believe music has not gotten better or worse in the past 69 years. It has changed, but not as much as people think. In 48 it was about finding, and losing love, and happiness and pain, and it still is. The emotion you get out of music is what makes it good or bad for you. Part of the problem now is with the listeners. Most do not pay enough attention to the music they are hearing to hear the emotion the performer and song are trying to convey get to them. That is where Miss Swift is a genius, she can construct lyrics which are full of emotion. She can control her voice well enough to give that emotion to you like a gift. I feel sorry for those to deaf to receive it.

Hmm yeah like I´ve said many times she is so mediocre I find it so awkward she keeps being this successful in America at this point. It´s not normal. But are the songs HE mentioned any better?? Which songs are those anyway? lol 🙂 The decline is real…

    • S****** Blonde November 6, 2017

You still don’t understand how white Americans think, they’re really a species on their own and each new generation is worse than the last.

So what he’s saying it that he’s happy that people are listening to ghetto trash that’s sexist & Homophobic & violent. At lest when Pop & EdM was out music videos were creative & fun now s*** just look like 5$. But music trends always pass & when white people get tried of HipHip they will move on to some thing else maybe rock will come back. But Taylors album is going to sell big & nothing will stop her & ratchets will deal.

    • S****** Blonde November 6, 2017

Lol, you’re like the whitest black guy on here ?

      • IssaDemigod November 6, 2017

And with that, you’re still going to have to deal like the man said ??‍♂️

      • S****** Blonde November 6, 2017

I actually agree with him ??‍♂️

      • Jasmine November 6, 2017

    • TRUTH SERUM November 6, 2017

I prefer ghetto trash over European trash EDM. I guess it’s true what they say… one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. You should know better than to use sweeping generalizations.

    • Caleb November 6, 2017

“when white people get tired of hip-hop…”
it will not matter because Hip-hop has survived and thrived since the 1980s whether white people were listening or not. You know there are more music listeners in this country than white so not everyone has to cater to their tastes.

  9. alix lerner November 6, 2017

What is he talking about ! no one is listening to his music mybe

  10. Aj November 7, 2017
