Rita Ora has enjoyed roaring success in 2017 and looks to extend her winning streak into the New Year
Said charge is being shepherded by Ben Cook, who heads up Atlantic Records UK – the label that scooped the singer up after her legal wrangle with Roc Nation wrapped.
Speaking to Music Week, the exec says he’s “really excited” about her album and what’s to come.
Dive below for details…
In 2017, Ora amassed UK sales of 1,409,852 spread across three singles ‘Your Song,’ ‘Anywhere,’ and Avicii collaboration ‘Lonely Together.’
Reflecting on the songbird’s success, Cook said:
“We’ve established a really great footprint. It’s developing a real rhythm to her musical output as we approach an album next year.”
‘Your Song,’ which is Ora’s biggest performer domestically (715,159), has also been a huge winner in European markets and other global territories.
Reflecting on her achievements and what’s to come, Cook added:
“She’s had her biggest hit ever internationally outside of America. Globally, there’s an enormous thirst and appetite.
I think she’s got an amazing voice, and an amazing connection in how she communicates with fans and that’s just growing and growing, we’re really excited for her.” [Source]

It’s clear Rita is showing and proving. We continue to be buzzed about her album.
Six years is a long wait (between projects), but her success thus far has provided a solid foundation for her to spring from.
Word on the curb is that her LP will be landing Q1 and will feature contributions from the likes of 2 Chainz and Chris Martin.
