‘Bodak Yellow’ rocked the charts this year and saw a number of its lyrics permeate the zeitgeist in spectacular fashion.

Its success reached above and beyond the U.S’s borders and has now sold and streamed enough copies (200,000) to secure a Silver certification in the United Kingdom after it peaked at #24 on the Official Singles Chart.

With this, Cardi earns her very first certification in the market without the help of a featured performer.

A due date for her debut album is yet to be announced.
