Mariah Carey’s ‘New Year’s Rockin Eve’ Song Choice Revealed

After delivering the worst televised performance of her career on last year’s ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest,’ pop star Mariah Carey is set to redeem herself with a rockin’ performance at this year’s showing [as we reported here].

Curious to know if she’ll be doing a “take 2” on last year’s song choices “Emotions” and “Auld Lang Syne”?  Look inside to see:

The show’s host, Ryan Seacrest, revealed [source]:

“We’re excited to have her back. She’s going to do a couple of songs, one of which will be ‘Hero’ right before midnight outside in that cold,” Seacrest said.

The statement above was lifted just after reps for the event’s production team lent the statement:

“We can all agree that last year didn’t go exactly as planned and we are thrilled to move forward together to provide America with an incredible night of music and celebration on ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2018′”…
