As ‘Black Panther’ fever continues to work its way around the globe, some of that excitement has seen itself rub off on the film’s official accompanying soundtrack. With reports already surfacing the album is set to top next week’s Billboard 200, its preceding singles have already started leaving their prints on the Billboard Hot 100’s upper rankings.
The set’s lead single, ‘Pray For Me’ by The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar, pounced to the top of streaming and digital sales just a day after its release. Now, with a full tallying week in its rearview, the critically acclaimed collabo has not only made an impressive top 10 debut on the Hot 100 but also is a top contender for next week’s top 5.
Get the details inside:
The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar soar onto the Hot 100 at No. 7 with “Pray for Me.” The track starts on Digital Song Sales at No. 2 (53,000) and Streaming Songs at No. 16 (17.2 million) and rises 47-35 on Radio Songs (32 million, up 35 percent).
The Weeknd notches his seventh Hot 100 top 10 and first since “I Feel It Coming” (featuring Daft Punk), which reached No. 4 last April; “Pray” is his first song to debut in the top 10. Lamar logs his sixth Hot 100 top 10 and third top 10 debut; last April, his “Humble.” arrived at No. 2, before leading the chart dated May 6, the week that “DNA.” debuted at its No. 4 peak.

I don’t know why I can’t quit my Jasmine impersonation addiction. I know I am making a fool out of myself because it is very obvious that it is me S****** (aka the man behind that fake Latina chick account) doing all this. I take this blog site seriously because I have no life, no job, and no money to afford my trans-formation. I hate women, especially those that are opinionated like Jasmine so I’m going to keep impersonating her with my evil asss because she has everything I wish I had..
King Abel and King Kendrick!
