Boss Move! All Beyonce & Jay-Z ‘On The Run II Tour’ Tickets Come Bundled With 6-Month Free TIDAL Membership

Published: Thursday 15th Mar 2018 by Sam

Beyonce and Jay-Z are poised to deliver big business at the box office with their ‘On The Run II Tour’ of stadiums this summer.

And while the world patiently awaits to see whether the trek is being paired with new music, the entrepreneurial couple are confirmed to be leveraging demand for the show towards the benefit of Jigga’s TIDAL streaming platform.

Details below…

The following is present on Ticketmaster:

Every online ticket purchase to JAY-Z AND BEYONCÉ OTR II includes a complimentary 6 month trial membership to TIDAL. You will receive an email from Ticketmaster within 48 hours of completing your transaction containing instructions on how to redeem your 6 month complimentary membership to TIDAL. One complimentary membership per transaction. Offer valid for new TIDAL accounts only.

This is major.

See, at just 22 dates, the first ‘On The Run’ played to almost 1 million people. The sequel doubles that figure to an estimated 2 million – as it’s staging roughly double the dates. And that’s before the inevitable extra shows are added.

That’s a huge pool of potential extra subscribers for TIDAL.

So, while “bundling” has proven an effective measure for artists looking to leverage their touring pull towards the shifting of new albums (see: Pink and the like), this takes that to the next level. For, it arguably proves more advantageous to secure longterm customers than momentary buys of an album. Indeed, one seems geared towards boosting first week sales and the other benefits a bigger vision.

Boss moves.

    Level up.

    • Fancy BISH March 15, 2018

✅ And that’s 6 months free of streaming their new joint album! They know what they’re doing…getting that platinum certification before Thanksgiving dinner lol ??

  3. Yeah I said it… March 15, 2018

D a m n Sam, you would think you are profiting from the Carters. Stop counting their money stunt Queen!

  4. Meme March 15, 2018

THIs is no boss move. More like product pushing. Forcing you product on ppl who don’t want your services isn’t a boss move. Chile bye. They are too greedy. Tidal will never be a thing. Let it go sis.

    • Yeah I said it… March 15, 2018

      What Meme said…..

    • Alex March 15, 2018

@Meme your negativity isn’t going to stop them from being successful. They constantly win at life while you are miserable waiting on their downfall. If you’re not a fan, good for you. However, just worry about your faves ability to top billboard charts as well as her inability to top Forbes lists. Good day

      • Darius C March 15, 2018

Win at life but are they truly happy i mean he did cheat on her everything is not perfect as I.T seems

      • Yeah I said it… March 15, 2018

@ Alex…But did Meme lie? While you’re DI CK riding the Carters ( who could care less about you) and talking about them topping the Forbes list, which one were you ever on, even at the bottom??? We’ll wait h o e?????

      • Alex March 16, 2018

@yeah i said it: Just like i can care less about you. I’m a fan and will ALWAYS be a fan. When the Beyhive rides hard for OUR fave, peasants like yourself have an issue, but when other fan bases do it it’s fine?? I said what i said and i meant it. He/she/it did lie. One m***** doesn’t stop a show. Neither of us have topped a Forbes list cuz we’re not celebrities. I understand you only have an 11th grade education, but learn how to make a cohesive and coherent argument. Need a dictionary??? Good day.

      • Alex March 16, 2018

@darius happiness nor winning equates to perfection. It means you persevere and fight for what u truly love and want. Men and women in ALL of our families have been cheating for centuries. Nothing new

    • Darius C March 15, 2018

Exactly and then they will factor I.T in ticket sales and they say Tidal increased in membership and they broke records sad this what u have to do to stay relevant

    • Superstar! March 15, 2018

@Meme – Exactly! It totally agree.

    • SMH March 15, 2018

@Meme exactly. Just like when the 3rd party bots “crashed” ticketmaster’s website, this is just another smoke & mirrors scam from the Carter frauds to make them look bigger than what they really are.

    • iamdiego March 15, 2018

I believe if Tidal had a free option without a subscription (like most streaming services) a lot more ppl would have it. I don’t understand why folks are so mad lol. Who are you? Where is your app? Why does it bother you one way or the other? Y’all keep tabs on the Carters (Beyonce) and they stay getting money bih! Haters=free promo. Don’t you get it?

  5. stan March 15, 2018

i’m guessing they can’t get new customers, so they have to subsidize it to get the numbers up. i’m skeptical it’ll work in the long term, but we’ll see.

  6. jammy March 15, 2018

this isn’t anything to celebrate or boast about

  7. DanYiel Iman March 15, 2018

Business team that knows how to get folks entertainment!!! ?”Bzzz”?

  8. SMH March 15, 2018

Boss moves??? Lmao sorry but this is nothing but DESPERATION moves.

    • TrellBeyLike March 15, 2018

Like giving away 1.4 million albums in a day for free, when yo fans never purchased 300k albums in a week? LOL desperado

      • Whoops March 15, 2018

Lol, oop. Exactly. Giving a special offer with purchase is a textbook business 101 move. Giving your actual product away for free is just sad. Especially when your customer base has a hilarious track record of never paying more than the price of a value fry at Mcdonalds for your stuff. Maybe if the Navy properly defined “boss” moves, Frih wouldn’t have to take on 10 extra projects just to make half of what her peers do.

      • SMH March 15, 2018

Desperation is desperation, whether you’re giving away albums or memberships to a failing streaming service with ticket bundles that will still fail in the long run. Like I said, desperation. Oop.

      • SMH March 15, 2018

….and using Rihanna as a deflection tactic doesn’t erase the DESPERATION of these two clowns.

      • Whoops March 15, 2018

It wasn’t a deflection, sis. It was an actual example of desperation, for illustrative purposes, as opposed to a regularly practiced business move you’ve improperly labeled. And for future reference, Using the same word 3 times in a sentence and capitalizing it for dramatic effect isn’t a substitute for a legitimate argument.

      • Alex March 16, 2018

@trellbeylike don’t read the peasants like that!!! Lmao!!

  9. NOPE March 15, 2018

    They should doonet

  10. NOPE March 15, 2018

They should donate tide pods to their uneducated hood rat fan base. Problem solved.

  11. The Empress March 15, 2018

I’ll take the six months (and cancel after five months and two weeks). #bossmove

  12. adele4life March 15, 2018

So, Beyonce does a bundle and it is a boss move.
Anybody else uses their tour to bundle anything else, they are desperate… blah, blah, blah…

    TGJ is just too much!
