It’s not even been 2 years since Alicia Keys dropped her last album, ‘Here,’ but since the critically acclaimed LP was widely ignored on the commercial front the 15-time Grammy winner is already teasing its follow-up.
Just a month after reports surfaced the songstress was fielding offers for a new label home (click here to read more), she took to ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ (March 1) to reassure viewers she has new music coming ‘so soon.’
Look inside to her play ‘the whisper challenge,’ dish on her adorable kids, talk ‘The Voice,’ and see exactly what she had to say about the matter of her next album:
I loved the Braided Alicia Keys: Fallen, You dont know my name. But also Lessons Learned, the beautifully sung DIARY. The soulful, stay in my range and make beautiful music alicia keys. The last two CD’s she sounded uninspired.
No one’s checking….
I’ll continue to pass on her music ?

The album was ignored and rightfully so. I just don’t know what she was thinking. Her last 3 albums have none of the art, skill and flavor of her first 3.
No Kerry Brothers Jr (aka Krucial Keys) no solid records for Alicia. That is why people were not checking for her last 3 albums…none of the singles hit like her previous albums. I loved her duet with Maxwell, but that song alone was not enough for me to buy her album so I just downloaded that song by itself.
