Festival fans rejoice!
Urban music’s leading crooners – The Weeknd and Bruno Mars – dominated much of last year’s Billboard charts with offerings from their respective albums, ‘Starboy’ and ’24K Magic.’ Now, they intend to bring that command to the 2018 Lollapalooza stage.
The four-day festival, which takes place August 2-5 in Chicago, saw its official lineup unveiled today and (to the surprise of no one) it does not disappoint! In addition to Weeknd & Mars – billed as the fest’s headlining acts – look inside to see who’ll join them rock Chitown this summer:
A great mixture of genre representation, Urban music fans will be particularly pleased to see names like Khalid, Taylor Bennett, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Tyler the Creator, Lil Pump, LL Cool J, and many more among the fest’s highly anticipated set.
For Mars, the showing will act as a warm-up for the last leg of his hotly-selling ’24K Magic Tour’ (featuring Cardi B), which kicks off a month later. The Weeknd, on the other hand, will be fresh from the Panorama festival where he’s been pegged a headliner alongside pop queen Janet Jackson.
