Janet Jackson is gearing up for a busy summer on the live circuit and she’s inviting you (yes, you) to join her!
For the first time in 10 years, the Queen Of Pop is holding open global dance auditions.

Taking to social media, the diva – who is headlining festivals such as Essence, FYF, and Panorama – is holding her first open dance auditions in over 10 years to join her famed troop – the JTribe.
Speaking on the venture Jackson’s longtime choreographer and creative Gil Duldulao said:
“Jan and I pay attention to what’s happening on social media and we see great dancers with raw talent all the time. Whether you are a dance troupe or a solo artist, we’ll be checking you out!”
Entrants can submit via social media or attend the in-person open call for dancers will be held on Monday, April 23rd at Starwest Studios in Burbank, CA. Additional details can be found at JanetJackson.com.

I think she needs masculine and muscular male dancers like she had in the 90s. 2005 on she has had effeminate male dancers that distracts from the sexxxx appeal of her show. How can Janet grind on a man during “If” when he looks like a twink? The female dancers are good but she needs more females of color.
I remember her last open call. The line stretched for days. I can dance choreographed routines, but natural free-style dancing ability I don’t have, so that eliminates me. Shoot, I might send a video anyway.

OMG!!! Go QUEEN JANET. I’m super duper excited. I love me some Janet. . Been loving her since Rhythm Nation. Matter of fact, that was the first album that my father and mother let me buy.She is an A plus talent and an awesome role model, unlike some of these other crazy entertainers
