It’s here!
Janelle Monae has powered up her third studio album ‘Dirty Computer.’
Billed as her most personal LP to date, the 32-year-old says the project is one she knew she’d have to make before even recording her first project.
A candid collection of songs, the set speaks to those who society has deemed as having glitches – the bullied, the oppressed, the ostracized. In a recent interview she said “this album is for you (all). Be proud.”
The multi-talented maven is joined on the record by Pharrell Williams, Grimes, Zoe Kravtiz, and more. It’s also been paired with a 44-minute “emotion movie.”

love it. especially Don’t Judge Me
My Electric pansexual queen is back. Album of The Year for sure!
Ok Django and make me feel are the hotness!
I didn’t like this album as much as I thought I would. I feel like it is a step backwards from her Electric Lady album…still in love with PYNK though.
The only song that I HATE is the song with Pharrell. The songs that I think are just so so are AMERICANS and SO AFRAID “BUT” I like those two songs because they have Prince elements from them so it makes them cool. (I personally think she should have left off the latter two songs from this album as they do not go with the album concept.)
