Banks has never performed at the ceremony and, should she get her wish, will rock the ceremony to support her new album ‘Business & Pleasure‘ and latest single ‘Anna Wintour’ which has been streamed over 5 million times worldwide.

No she should change her brand first. Right now she is a liability to other artists and companies because she continuously bad mouths celebs. Her brand needs to change from messy troll to artsy rapper with a couple hit songs that chart. After that then yes she should perform. In the meantime she should perform at the pre-awards show if they book her.
I would prefer she perform on the BET hip Hop awards and do a Cypher as well, with Lil Mama, and Mallibu Mitch. They all support each other.

Actually, it’d be refreshing to see some versatility. BET is known for propping up the same artists (especially when it comes to women) and excluding many others (why were Ryan Thicke and Bruno Mars invited multiple time but Jason Derulo excluded for his first four albums. Like he didn’t produce the same electro-pop R&B that Usher and Chris Brown were nominated for from 2010-2014). Like it or not, it’d be good to see a female rapper with there own set this decade besides Nicki and Cardi.
She deserves it. Anna Wintour is a fiya dance track. It will be refreshing because she knows how to hype a crowd. I wish her luck.
If BET grants her the performance, she needs loved ones around her afterwards to stop her from tweeting any negative experience, i.e., time slot, dressing room, stage setup, other performers, etc. Let it be the beginning of a new Azealia Banks. The world would be watching.
Maybe they’ll let her perform on the red carpet pre show although I doubt they’ll even do that. She’s a liability and not many are checking for her sorry but Issa no. Sad when you can’t even get booked at the bet awards of all places.

And I think neither the music industry or black women need or identify themselves with Banks as a role model. So many black independent female singers are so better and more deserving role models and yes they need a voice! Give them that time instead! (For exemple: Leona Lewis, JHUD, Nicki Minaj, SZA, Ashanti, Bey, Janet, Alicia…)
