Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato were one of the main attractions last night at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.
The dynamite duo blew the roof off the MGM Grand with a spirited rendition of new single ‘Fall In Line’ and they seem to have struck a positive chord with the record buying public.
Details below…
Following the performance, the pair have received one of the largest boosts amongst all acts who took to the stage.
For, ‘Fall’ rocketed #28 to #4 where it presently stands.
As at writing, the empowerment anthem is fast closing in on the #3 position.
***************
The strong performance of the track, which came out of the gate swinging upon its release last week, points to its resonance with the general public. Hence, we’re hopeful there’s a plan in place to ensure it’s gifted the opportunity it deserves to become a decent sized hit.
‘Liberation,’ Xtina’s 8th studio album, arrives June 15th via RCA.
This is a joke right? YALl are really praising the mess. it turNed into a screaming match. you know it, hell we all know it. there was no harmony. just one PERson trying to outsing the other. I went into it with such high hope and ended watching feeling embarassed for them.
Agreed
It was not a home run winning performance it was a battle of who can scream the loudest and try staying on key. Great message and song but not so great showing.
@Gee – I agree.
They definitely needed more rehearsal with the performance. It was clear Demi was not 100%…because she is usually stellar live. Christina, I thought sounded really good until she took the screaming too far…and she didnt give Demi room to really breathe on the song. They were very disconnected from each other….maybe the rumors of them having problems was true. Either way, I think this song deserves more performances and hopefully they can get it together.
Well Xtina was ready to slay. The first verse solid. I think Demi threw it off. Christina needs to get her best background singer for future performances.
June 15th hurry TF up!
She sounded AWFUL
