Christina Aguilera & Demi Lovato Rocket To #1 On iTunes With ‘Fall In Line’

Published: Thursday 17th May 2018 by Sam

Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato are off to a rocket-fuelled start with new single ‘Fall In Line.’

The haunting hymn, which preaches self-worth and empowerment, was unleashed yesterday as the lead release from Xtina’s 8th album ‘Liberation’ and it’s resonating with listeners in a major way.

Details below…

[UPDATED]

Preceded by buzz cuts ‘Accelerate’ and ‘Twice,’ ‘Fall’ seems to be a case of “saved the best ’til last.”

Received well by fans and critics alike, it’s faring exceptionally on US iTunes where it’s blasted to #1 after one day on-sale.

On the worldwide tally, it occupies the #3 position and is rising.

It’s as good a start as a start can be for the diva and easily serves as the highest peak of the any of the songs she’s released in recent times.

Of course, we’re in the streaming era. As such, that piece of the pie will be integral to the song’s broader success.

Yet, with a highly anticipated music video to come and the energized nature of Demi’s youthful fanbase (renown for their activeness with streaming), early signs are looking positive.

In the meanwhile, folk can catch Xtina and Demi when they take to the stage to perform ‘Fall In Line’ at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards this Sunday.

‘Liberation’ lands June 15th.

So happy for her.., Demi has another solid song for her repertoire and Xtina has Demi’s support garnering back the youth market neglected during her time away. Love the song, perfect for the time we’re in. Looks like Xtina is gonna have a home run this time.., none of the major players can block her this time around.

Wow. If they smash Sundays performance, which I feel they willll, then the song should make some serious moves on Billboard! Christina & Demi deserve this.
