I hope so. Really not impressed if that’s the best video hype they can give. Great artists but just not current enough. Janet’s come back needs to engage the new generation to keep her back on top.
I agree with all the comments but I also realize that celebrity has changed. Gone are the days when the current artists have talent. The current artists are just models (aka posers who pretend like they have music talent but they dont). They are not inspired by anyone with true talent. They are inspired by who has the most twitter followers but could care less about learning complex dance moves, writing songs with deep messages, or being innovative. The only current artists I see with real talent are Bruno Mars (he has praised MJ and Janet in the past), Beyonce (she praises other artists quietly and by copying their looks / styles), Childish Gambino, Drake (he gets tattoos of artists who inspire him), and J. Cole.
Agree. And the people you mentioned though would be the ones I would have got to increase the hype machine for the BB show. Bruno. Drake. Gambino. And they should have got Christina Britney Ariana. Madonna would never have done it. Or j lo. Justin Timberlake would have been the ultimate interviewer to have got.
Now if you produced a pre show hype video like THAT, that’s how you build anticipation for a tv show… these producers are off their game.

Hey buddy, long time. I remember what a huge Janet Stan you are.., I can say I’m really happy for Janet to be getting this gradual reintroduction to the mainstream. As terribly as she was treated by mainstream America she could have easily completely given up but used the time away for herself, didn’t beg to be accepted back and has come back on her own terms in no small part due to the fact that the love and appreciation for her by the music industry and her fan base has never waned. You can’t blacklist a Legend.., I mean.., on whose authority lol?! Welcome back Queen Janet??????
I just REALLY hope she remixes her older songs and incorporates hot new choreography for tomorrow. I need the youngins and even 90s kids who allowed radio and tv to make them forget Janet to know and want to re-discover Janet Jackson.
I hope this helps restore Miss Jackson to her rightful place being mentioned among legends MJ, Madonna, Prince and Whitney. She has earned that right but unfortunately millennials haven’t had as much exposure to her brilliance as they have to her contemporaries. I hope she sets that stage on fire and shows what a boss she still is. Madonna and Janet in their 50s still out perform these girls half their age
YES and her discography is truly amazing. Janet does not get the credit she deserves but those of us who know, know! Very excited to see her performance.
