VH1 celebrated Mother’s Day early last night with their second annual ‘Dear Mama’ special.
The show, which saw a number of notable names honor their moms, also brought with it special performances.
As reported, Jessie J blew the roof off the building with her showing.
And now, there’s more.
Teyana Taylor teamed with Bobby Brown to perform his classic ‘Every Little Step’ to salute her mother. Elsewhere Ne-Yo serenaded Gabrielle Union‘s mom with the title track of new album ‘Good Man’ and dusted off the classic ‘Miss Independent.’ Jhene Aiko also took to the stage with her daughter Namiko Love and duetted on the aptly titled ‘Sing To Me.’
All awaits after the jump…
Bobby…Kii. Teyana did her thing, though!
Mr Smith was smooth as ever. He’s so underrated, which is somewhat odd given the length and breadth of his success.
Bobby sounded a mess!
Yea his sound always was rough since he’s a senior…
I thought he sounded good compares to other recent performances. Now his gut and appearance was a mess. He looks rough and beat down. It is obvious he eats a lot of fried foods and drinks a lot. He has been rocking that gut and sporting the bloated face for at least 15 years now.
Jesus, thank you for Jhene. She is such a pure heart and talent. And the love between her and her family is so amazing. I could feel it through the computer screen. INSANE!!! All of the Chilombo sisters and mother were so touched by this performance! Too bad Mila is releasing s***** music lately, she could’ve been on Jhene’s level but she’s too ratchet.. Thank you God once agian for Jhene.
Yeah mila j doesn’t get it
Jhene is such a gem ???❤️
Teyana should’ve sang the song by herself. I felt bad for Bobby
