Stream: Nas’ New Album ‘NASIR’ [Produced by Kanye West]

Published: Saturday 16th Jun 2018 by Rashad

One thing we can say for sure is that Kanye West is a man of his word.

As he promised, five albums were due from his hands (via his own work or acting as lead producer) and now, following Pusha T‘s ‘Daytona,’ his own ‘Ye,’ and ‘Kids See Ghosts’ (his joint album with Kid Cudi), West is seeing the fourth of the five projects roll out –  ‘Nasir’ by Nas.

After holding his private listening session in his hometown of New York City on Thursday night (b), the set – kept highly guarded and top secret until its official unveiling – follows the same formula of West’s most recently preceding productions by housing only 7 songs.

The follow up to Nas’ own 2012 chart-topper, ‘Life is Good,’ ‘Nasir’ may have seen its production handled exclusively by Kanye but it features a host of Hip Hop heavyweights as guests including the likes of Puff Daddy, 070 Shake, Tony Williams, and The Dream.

Plus “Maria” & “Accelerate” from Xtina album too. But Nas Nasir album is dope! Better than Kanye’s Ye
Tracks “Adam & Eve” with Dream
And “Cops Shot The Kids” with Kanye himself are my fave. Kanye is killing the game right now. Hate what he did with “slavery is a choice comment” and also “Pusha album cover tasteless
But can’t deny husband talent ??‍♂️

Then Beyonce and Jay just dropped an album joint ?

It’s crazy how black people unite to c*** over Kanye.

My thoughts exactly & it’s sad that we can’t collectively be tired of rich folks BULL S***!

    • SMH June 17, 2018

Agreed. As much as I love Nas, I refuse to support anything that clownye has his hands on. White folks canceled Roseanne over her clownery, but black folks choose a hot beat to bop their empty heads to over principle. Very sad indeed smh.

Sorry I disagree. When it comes to hip hop music sales the majority of consumers are white. Black people at large don’t support even when an artist is doing good. They will buy concert tickets to have a good time but most will not buy the music. White people seem to be better at separating the music from the artist’s personal lives and buy more music albums.

This album is one of the best this year IMO wish it was longer ugh

  6. ~The Arcade~ June 17, 2018

Love the nostalgia music. Classic Nas, great content.

  7. SMH June 17, 2018

Anything attached to clownye Kardashian gets a NO from me. Hot beats only last a few minutes. Ignorant comments last forever.

    • Jasmine (The Real Jasmine) June 17, 2018

I agree. Nas should have worked with lots of producers and his album should be longer in tracks and playtime. I will free download it because I like Nas but I won’t stream or buy it.

  8. B2B June 17, 2018

You all know nothing about hip hop or Nas if you call this a classic. Not even good as his last album, now that’s classic NAS

I haven’t comment because I can’t get out from listening to this Fire. Please refrain from the repetitive echo trap music that the cdc vaccinated children came from. Leave it, the trap bubble to the kids for I have spoken ….. The End. Bonjour!!!!
