Zayn Covers Beyonce’s ‘Me, Myself, & I’

Published: Friday 29th Jun 2018 by Sam

With One Direction behind him, Zayn Malik is aiming to strike solo gold.

Debut album ‘Mind Of Mine’ (which featured chart smash ‘Pillow Talk’) assisted that cause and now the Brit is readying his sophomore effort to further assert his singular gravitas.

Ahead of its arrival, the 25-year-old showcases his versatility with a cover of Beyonce‘s 2003 hit ‘Me, Myself, & I.’

Take a listen to his incarnation below…

Impressive. Very much so.

We continue to echo our sentiment about Zayn having ample potential.

If he can pair this with solid material, he’ll be a major chart prospect.

Your thoughts?

He sounded like Justin Timberlake at the beginning. Nevertheless, good cover!

I love to hear Bey sing this song on the Beyoncé Live Experience. Vocals on fleek!

meanwhile Drakes new album is being TRASHED by his own fans on metacritic… the male nikki minaj much like nikki SHOWS NO GROWTH becuz they cannot grow. Album as a whole is GARBAGE without endless percentage of skippable tracks. 2/5. And The audacity to steal from MJ ? Joe Jackson does not approve.

WITH endless percentage of skippable tracks. Just SKIP IT and thank me later. ?

Stay on topic Diabetes. In terms of this cover, Beyonce’s original version is way better IMO. This is a female anthem. We don’t need no monotune white girlboy trying to cover it. Plus, a strong woman can be on her own whereas a strong man knows that he needs a good woman (or man thesedays lol) to hold him down and make him better.

Lmao, missed me with that feministic bullish. Women NEED men way more than vice versa especially outside of just S.ex which is why men chest more often. but to get more on topic what are yur Top 3 FAV songs on the EPIC MASTERPIECE that was/is LEMONADE? You mentioned u hate Sorry (I do also tho it does have great song progression/structure just like the rest of lemonade) but what are yur favs? Maybe u should re listen to it, idk why u don’t realize how huge/heavy that album is sonically much like my weight.

and im aware his version is hot garbage but i didnt expect it to be any better than it was, he didnt even change all the right lyrics but either way he wasnt trying to make it as good as bey do I didn’t comment on it. it reminds me of drakes version of Say my Name… hes just honoring tribute to a rising Classic. infact Me myself and I just might be Beys newest classic among CIL Irreplacable Single Ladies DIL and Say my name among few others.

LOL Lemonade is a love it or hate it situation. I’m sorry but the Beyonce music I love and still blast to this day are from her earlier albums like Dangerously In Love, B’Day, 4, and some of the songs from I Am Sasha Fierce. Dangerously in Love was well crafted and safe yet full of well crafted r&b music. I love that album the most. B’Day was a grower for me. I remember on first listen I recognized Upgrade U and Irreplaceable as instant hits but it is those unreleased songs from the B’Day era like Backup and Lost Ur Mind that were pure fire! 4 was well crafted and a very nice return to rnb. I liked that whole album. Her self-titled album was also not my cup of tea even though I liked the short song Partition. So essentially, it is just her last two solo albums I disliked but I know she will return to making the type of music that I like so it’s all good. What are ur favorite songs from Dangerously In Love and B’Day?

        I’d rank them…

        4 (CLASSICAL/R&B on hydrolics)
BDAY (Album filled with good 3rd and 4th singles but no 1ST)

Cool. Im gonna have to listen to Lemonade again. Maybe I’m missing something. Hopeully she releases another SOLO album next year and same goes for Jay-z. They do better as solo lead artists. This joint album should have been fire but it sounded rushed and not well thought out or promoted IMO. They should go ahead and release the second single / video from it because they were photographed filming a music video in Jamaica last month so I assume it is from this new album.

This sounds a mess from the intro to the first verse. I just can’t hear no one singing this classic hit song of it’s not going to be done right. I’m not even talking about Zayn…I’m talking about the chord progression…it’s not even in sync with the melodic phrasing and THATS what makes it so difficult for me to listen too. This is a small detail, but makes ALL he difference. So, I’ll pass on this. Smh
