Sources close to TMZ claim Bruno was blindsided by Cardi’s departure and is frantically looking for a replacement…and an economic way to handle the costumes, stage backdrops and dancers hired to support her.
We’re told Bruno’s people were burning up the phones Friday … starting conversations with reps from a number of musicians but nothing is close to being locked down.
I know the fans will understand. You are absolutely doing the right thing. I also know we’ll share the stage when the time is right. We love you Cardi and we will play ‘Bodak Yellow’ every night in your honor. Please give your baby girl a hug from me and a hug on behalf of everyone on The 24K Magic Tour.”

If memory serves me correctly… it was bruno mars that opened for Bey at this years coachella. and why would bey open for an ARENA tour, some of his shows are at 5k capacity THEATERS. I see why cardi declined, better off touring WITH and not for Migos. ?
Yup Xavier. This would be a great gig for her and she’ll be able to show herself to a younger audience than her habitual one. It’ll be great for her. But I think she’s still in the middle of that tour with her husband (unfortunately). And with the time passing by it wouldn’t be time for all the rehearsals. She likes shows with lots of special effects and a whole bunch of dancers, back up singers, musicians and all that and Bruno is a more simple performer than that (he’s amazing, all the show is him and his music nothing more ?). Only for that reason I can’t imagine he’ll think about her, it’s sad she’s letting this huge opportunity go. Maybe in a few years she accepts opening for him or Ed to meet a younger public.

This would be great to expand her audience but she has no new music out! Hopefully she drops something in August or early September bcuz I really want her to do black girls rock this again which comes in September… I’m hoping for a bigger & better solo tour she promised fans as well…

I couldn’t agree more…there’s 0 wrong with having a child but she shouldn’t be taking breaks whilst she is at the top of the game…breaks occur before signing the major deal once u have the major deal u must be ready for a 10 year consistent commitment.
For instance look at jlo she launched her debut album at 30 then she was committed for 8 consistent years before having kids at 38 then immediately, came with new music 0 breaks. There are 0 career breaks for successful people. She is a millionaire, she could have hired 2 nannies & a chef to go on tour with her which would cost 25% of the money she wasted on the lambo she just bought… she is dumb & will go broke within 5 years…Atlantic r a hot mess is this the best person they could find? Ciara would be great but I doubt Bruno’s team are thinking of her ’cause “Level Up” is too recent and there’s no sign of the album yet.
Tori Kelly would be a great replacement, Pink, Christinia Aguilera, Rita Ora, Boys to Men they would be great also ok Bruno do a good job picking people who know how to entertain and can sing and dance. Good Luck !! Remember to pick someone who is a true entertainer like you pop songs slow songs etc……. waiting in suspense for this choice. Bruno you can think of somebody how about Charlie Wilson? That would be great addition bring back some old tunes.

Azealia Banks is the only one that comes to mind. As far as whose hot, there won’t be a replacement for Cardi B that also fits bruno’s Fan base.

I’m sure Cardi already told Bruno no to Nicki Minaj. That really the only person I can think of. Nicki should be calling Bruno to be on the tour. She needs to put her pride to the side and perform records from her upcoming album. Nicki need to promo and this will be a good opportunity for her album.

Nicki’s too big of a name now though and probably on the same level as Bruno. Normally they get a rising artist to be opening acts. Earlier this year it was Dua Lipa who opened. I reckon they should go for Stefflon Don.
Iggy Azalea would be a good choice since sold out apparently and also she had big pop hits around time bruno was out so yeah. Plus not in place to headline own tour, perfect!
