EOne is a distribution company, not promotions. A lot of artists will sign distro deals with them because they can get their music out to stores and outlets fast and cheap. But EOne is definitely in the business of promoting these artists. That’s where a lot of the artists miss the mark, because they’re expecting that promotion, but EOne is just banking on the artists’ name to get the music into stores. Anyone who signs with EOne is expected to have their own promo and marketing strategies to begin with.

The truth is, Azealia is very talented and she knows it. She has it in her to be great but she does not have the maturity or business skills to manuever appropriately in this business. I applaud her determination, creativity, and will to fight for her career. She knows that she has something unique and anyone can take her spot. She has nothing else to fall back on but her skills as a writer and singer. If she makes this whole thing work she will get the last laugh. I personally love her music.
