Aretha Franklin‘s family called on a group of her closest friends and collaborators to celebrate her life today, enlisting them to grace her funeral with soul and song in Detroit.
The star passed away earlier this month and is survived by fans, friends and relatives who have joined forces to bid her adieu with a service which is being streamed live from church and will see her honoured by those who know her best.
In attendance? Whoopi Goldberg, Ariana Grande, Hilary Clinton & many more.

It was probably emotional because she died during drug use and that’s what people will remember her for; the negative thing that are popularized by the media and that incident didnt help either. Whitney had a funeral. Aretha is having a Baptist fit, cogic home going. She nor her family is trying to compete with another funeral, who does that? Aretha planned her service in December 2017 and she wanted to have some good ol church, that’s what we doing.
Who compares funeral. Every funeral is different and should not be compare. Funeral is a celebration to the afterlife to be rebirth and to honor that person legacy achieve on this Earth
