Ciara brought a ‘Dose’ of dynamite to her debut performance on Bruno Mars’ ’24k Magic Tour’ in Toronto last night.
As reported, the stage blazer forms part of an all-star line-up of names joining the crooner for the victory lap of the blockbuster trek.
For her set, CiCi rocked the capacity crowd with new numbers such as ‘Level Up,’ ‘Freak Me,’ and ‘Dose.’ She also offered up live renditions of favorites such as ‘Promise,’ ‘Body Party,’ and ‘Like A Boy.’

My expectations are not being met here. I expected Ciara to open for Bruno with some amazing performances so that she can pull off her first solo headlining tour and album release afterwords. She looks tired here and not energetic enough to be a headliner. She should not be tired. She has on sneakers and knows how to dance plus she is just an opening act so her set is super short. I expect more Ciara.

Her set was a major let down! She barely even song any of her songs… she talked sing most of her songs… great dancer but I wouldn’t pay money to see her in concert solo!

I respect her hustle and she looks great, but we all know singing and dancing is difficult to pull off. She need to work on her breath control because you could hardly hear her in Level Up ??? Or become a flawless lip syncer and sing portions live and leave pre record for he rest (a’la Janet and Bey) ?

Hmmmmmm, I don’t know…SMH. Hopefully, the exposure will boost interest. Those background dancers didn’t look tight in those clips, plus she needs at least 2 guys for balance. It’s a great start.
Nope. I wasn’t impressed with any of this dancing. It didn’t look like the choreography for Dose even went with the song.

But I think although singing and dancing is hard to do especially to try make it sound nice without talk singing but you gotta find ways to find the right time to sing and then let backing track/or back up singers do their part in. Ex: Beyonce and even Tinashe when performing live I see it executed well so that they can really f it up dancing and then find the right time to go back to singing.
