Mariah Carey is working the promo trail proper in support of her new music.
For, the superstar songstress has just been announced as the latest performer at the American Music Awards 2018.

The 10-time AMA winner will be gracing the ceremony’s stage (for the first time in 10 years) – she revealed.
And the timing is apt.
Fresh from releasing buzz cut ‘GTFO,’ Mimi’s team confirmed that ‘With You’ – the lead single from her upcoming 15th album – will be hatched on October 5th. Just four days before the October 9th event broadcasts live from Los Angeles.
Hence, it’s safe to assume that that’s what Carey will be cooing come AMAs day.
Whatever the case, we’re excited to see her up, out, and performing on potent platforms.
Other performers on the bill include Khalid, Carrie Underwood, and Post Malone (with Ty Dolla $ign).
Mariah and Cardi will RULE the AMA’s while HOnika cries while watching it eating bonbons wishing she was still relevant enough to walk the show’s red carpet.
Cardi is also irrelevant in the big scheme of things. She´s not too talented and she will be replaced in 2 or 3 years. Nothing else.

One of the few real legends from better times we have left. So always good news to have her at a mainstream awards ceremony instead of the usual crrap from today. But I hope With You is an appropiate single. GTFO is song only a few fans can enjoy. People are not here for that type of vocal showing. What I like about this upcoming album is that it is going to be released pretty quickly and that´s it. No waits, no delays. It seems they have it ready.
Now, THIS is her speed. Let her have 10 minutes of hits, this could be a moment.

Cher is not an artist from the 80s/90s. I emant the ones who debuted and became global stars during those two decades. Of course I had Barbra, Cher or Tina in mind too. But they didn´t become stars during those years. The thing is we only have like 3 or 4 big legends alive form that era, so many have died in the last few years. That was my point.
Oh and Shania is not reallt active nowadays. That´s why i didn´t mention her. Worldwide her last album went nowhere and she has been absent for 10 or 15 years. So no. She is not doing like Mariah carey or Celine Dion. At all.

Back in the days when I was younger I thought she was overrated and weird. Since I’ve heard her catalogue over the last year I have to say that she is so talented that I’m happy for all the success she still has nowadays. I feel that she could connect better to a younger audience though.
Nothing is more pathetic than being an old man crying about how music was over 30 years ago. Guess what, your parents said the same with your 80s music. Get over it old man.
With that said, Mariah is ok, I’m just tried of her doing her old @ss songs for the 99th time on the AMAs and BMAs.
