Fifth Harmony‘s youngest member pops the cork on her post-group career with a little help from Ty Dolla $ign (who she last teamed with on ‘Work From Home’) and Marc E. Bassey.
The club cut serves as the first sip of new material from the 21-year-old since signing with LA Reid‘s freshly launched imprint HitCo.

It’s uncomplicated, radio-ready, and sticks after first play.
If there’s one arguable drawback, it’s that Dinah doesn’t sing the chorus. But, make no mistake, that doesn’t stop the potency of this party.
Should the stars align and she hits the promo-game proper, this has all the makings of a possible hit.

She in my eyes was going to be the break out star had the best voice out of all of them in my opinion. I think she might have missed the mark with this one it sounds too close to 5H sound. And now that Camilla is the break out star I feel like all the other girls including this one will be like the other meme era of Destiny’s child… very forgettable.

Artist today really lack creativity. How you do solo and use the feature, cover art work, same melody and sound structure as your groups last music.

Couldn’t listen for more than 10 secs. That’s a real cheap song/video with low creativity formula. Also 5H members doens’t know anybody else in this industry than Ty Dolla $ign?
She sounds good, but the song isn’t really for me. Just not my thing. And I wish they’d stop using autotune on the 5h girls voices, it isn’t needed at all for any of them! I really am looking forward to more from Dinah since I like her and neither of the songs she has been on solo have been my kind of thing yet.

Have Ty Dolla Sign was a major mistake. Production is great, but the lyrics are trash. These kind of songs never sell, especially albums. I am really disappointed in Dinah Jane because no one needs a smokin’ and drankin’ song from her. Shame on LA Reid for approving this.

I really don’t know how I feel about this .
For me Dinah has all the makings to
be the Beyoncé of the group , but this is too similar to Work From Home / Down. I mean I like it .. but I just don’t think it has enough of a solo stamp . Them telephone effect adlibs are old school AF too … one or two is cute but damn , they’re so 90’s pop and for people who can’t sing like Britney Spears . Anyways I hope this song does well and want to hear more from her , because she was always my fave.
