HER is more talented vocally and has more musicianship than Ella. I think Ella will end up having more variety in her music although Trip sounds like Booed Up’s fraternal twin sister.
HER is a musical genius in the making just for her instrument knowledge, writing and live vocals. For me Ella Mais voice is a basic less smooth version of Kehlanis
From what I’ve heard of Ella Mai’s music, she doesn’t really have any nuance to her voice. She’s decent enough, and the average person can sing along to her music — but a real vocalist, she is NOT. You can tell that HER has been mastering her craft for years, which is refreshing to see in this basic microwave industry. I do like that Ella Mai’s music is an ode to yesteryears R&B. Everyone else is doing the same old moody, slow-motion vibe music.
HER is a beast. a total beast. She’s under-rated, she better take those Aaliyah glasses off and Market. She has the makings of being the New Alicia Keys
