Lady Gaga has done it…again!
The singer/actress’ stunning turn in ‘A Star Is Born’ has nabbed her another British chart-topper.
Details below…
This week’s edition of the Official Album Chart has been unveiled and sees Mother Monster blaze in at #1 with the film’s companion soundtrack. It serves as Gaga’s fourth time atop of the UK’s album count; her last touchdown occurred with 2013’s ‘ARTPOP.’
Featuring 19 all-new songs, the set – much like the movie – has been showered with ample praise from critics and is clearly resonating with the record-buying public.
Meanwhile on the singles tally, ‘Shallow’ (with co-lead Bradley Cooper) rockets seven spots to #6 – becoming Gaga’s first top 10 single on UK shores in five years.
Elsewhere, two addition songs from the ‘Star’ soundtrack enter the Top 40 this week – ‘I’ll Never Love Again’ (#35) and ‘Always Remember Us This Way’ (#39).
Congrats all round!

This movie has reached out to an older audience and others that may not particularly listen to Gaga’s music but will now recognise the many talents this woman possesses.
