Ariana Grande Teams With YouTube For New Docuseries / Reveals Trailer

Published: Wednesday 28th Nov 2018 by Sam

Ariana Grande is all sorts of omnipresent on the charts and now she’ll be a fixture on YouTube too. Because the songbird has paired up with the streaming giant for a unique new docuseries.

Details below…

Christened the ‘Dangerous Woman Diaries,’ the four-part special will focus on Grande’s tour of the same name. It’ll also chronicle the process of piecing together her current album ‘Sweetener.’

And though the singer’s love life has been a headline magnet (see: Pete Davidson, Mac Miller), the Alfredo Flores directed doc won’t hone in on those corners of her story. Instead, it’ll largely spotlight her professional endeavours – with an intimate lens.

The YouTube Original will be broadcast for free once weekly beginning tomorrow (November 29th). However, those who subscribe to YouTube Music premium tier can watch all four parts at once.

It’s being launched in tandem with the highly anticipated video for Grande’s chart-topping smash ‘Thank U, Next.’

This is why you’re not a record label exec ?? To the majority her audience demographic who don’t know better i.e. 10-20 yrs old – she IS THEIR definition of an artist. And it’s those fans that will eat this up and stream the Facke out of it (securing her bag in the process).

      • Hmmm… November 29, 2018

Ariana’s fans have always been that 10-20 year old demographic, and the success of her endeavors have never been impressive. Let’s calm down. This is not an “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” situation. Ariana is not selling tours like Beyoncé, music like Taylor, racking up number 1s like Rihanna, or Grammys like Adele. A real “record exec” should be interested in securing MORE fans. More fans = bigger bag. Because those 10-20 year olds have only done so much. And I’m not convinced any 10 year old will give a damn about this doc series, it’s not like they bought her album. Let’s not forget Sweetener still flopped after week 1. If Ariana is content with staying where she is and being on the same level as Selena Gomez and Camilla Cabello then yeah, this is the move.

lmaooo thats why shes the biggest female artist in the business right now right. stay mad h0 cuz Ari will stay winning lmfaooooo

      • Hmmm… November 29, 2018

Ariana is the only pop girl releasing music right now…. lol if she’s only winning because no one else is playing the game, then she’s not winning, clown. In no aspect has Ariana surpassed ANY of the major female artists.
