Having been thrust in to the middle of a rap feud this week, Little Mix are looking to reaffix the focus on the upcoming album ‘LM5.’ So what better way to do so than to unleash a brand new song?!
Christened ‘Joan Of Arc,’ the feisty offering sees the ladies assert their female independence.
They sing “I don’t need a man, I have my own rock on my hand. I don’t need a man, if I’m with you it’s ‘cus I can.”
Listen to the sassy song after the jump…
On the one hand, fans of the Pop quad are likely to eat this up, but we’re not so sure it’ll prove to be the most filling meal for more casual listeners.
Sure, it’s catchy and the kind of candy-coated Pop that sticks, however there’s an air of “high school” to the delivery – which figures given the group’s core audience. Yet, we’re ready for them to graduate to more grown terrain. Lyrically and sonically.
Good Song!
Local flops ?♂️
F*** the haters. Yes, that includes you.
Sassy track. I like it but they suffer from the same thing 5H did. Their songs all have the same formats. I wish they would work with different kinds of producers because these girly anthems sounds like songs for a sound track or commercial. It doesn’t sound like music music.
So they’ve moved on from the other single already, huh? Yeah I don’t remember it either.
@Jasmine … – I don’t get why they would be putting out another single right now either. The other one was really start to get traction. I like this new song too. I sounds dated like a throw back as far as the beat is concerned by I like the song with Nicki MUCH BETTER than this one.
It was leaked earlier today!
I love this track as well & I’ll be purchasing it!!?
Its generic and forgettable like their last song but they seem to be enjoying their forgettable lane and the few fans they have seem to be ok with the mediocre madness so I’m happy for their forgettable success I guess
This song is similar to Fifth Harmony song called BO$$. I don’t like Little Mix voice or harmonies. I prefer MKS or Sugababes (Heidi, Jade, Amelia) voices/harmonies
It dont sound like BOSS al all !!
Listen to it again
Who the hell is Amelia. Don’t you mean Keisha?
I wish they would take off in the american market! They would be such a force! so would this guy https://youtu.be/F39YZWndle8
This track is a good example of why they haven’t become globally successful. It’s perfect for Radio Disney of the soundtrack of some t*** flick, but most commercial radio stations won’t touch it
Perrie slayed that pre chorus.
Think they want something that can work for the clubs.
They’re so into the Yoncè independent woman vibe but they have to fine tune it to truly have the essence of Little Mix.
