Ariana Grande’s ‘Thank You, Next’ Breaks VEVO 100 Million Record

Guess who broke another record?

Ariana Grande, that’s who!

Cool facts and figures on the star’s latest release below…

‘Thank You, Next’s visual is now the fastest video to reach the 100 million views mark -just four days into meme-making clip’s arrival.

VEVO is elated with the news and issued this statement via its Head of ContentProgramming & Marketing JP Evangelista:

We are completely floored by the performance that we are seeing for this video and how our audience continues to flock to it. It’s one thing to have a video premiere that comes out of the gate strong and entirely something else for it to continue to sustain that momentum over time. All signs indicate that “thank u, next” will be a chart topper for us for weeks to come and will contend with many of our top all-time most viewed videos. Congratulations are in order once again to Ariana, Hannah Lux Davis and the entire family at Republic Records.

Lux Davis also directed Ciara‘s ‘I’m Out’ visual’, Tinashe’s ‘2 On’ and Fifth Harmony‘s ‘That’s My Girl‘…as well as Arianas ‘Into You‘ and ‘Side to Side.’

We feel ‘Thank U, Next’ sits amongst the best work of both the artist and director.

It’s crazy how these videos gain so much play online & many services!?

    Congrats she deserves it

I think it’s just a case of the track successfully resonating with the target audience. It gives them what they want and they eating it up.

I mean – it’s not that deep and ain’t no ‘Remember The Time‘ or ‘Thriller‘. Harmless and as insignificant as Candyfloss. Next.

Thiller is just some people dressing up as zombies…. just childish…. least pick something that is actually not some Halloween nonsense, and actually based on real life.

Are you coming for THRILLER, the most influential music video of all time?! The one that set the bar for every video that followed it? Thriller makes this video look like a welfare case! #GTFO

How can it be the case? When thriller isnt based on real life There’s no such thing as zombies? It’s nonsense. Okay for Halloween, but that’s it. Better to watch music videos that people can relate to.
