New material from Spears will be the first since 2016’s ‘Glory’ which spawned singles such as ‘Make Me… (feat. G-Eazy)’ and ‘Slumber Party (feat. Tinashe)’ and the first since Spears’ wrapped up her initial Las Vegas residency, ‘Britney: Piece of Me.’ The latter ran from 2013 to 2017 before Spears’ brought the show on the road in 2018 for a limited run across North America and Europe.

Tales of newness from Spears has her loyal legion of fans ecstatic and excited to see what the singer will bring into the new year.

GLORY was a very underrated album & quite honestly… her best & most cohesive work since THE BLACKOUT.

The single selections & associated promo were way OFF for the GLORY project.

Glory was missing the urban edge Blackout had. I realize that Britney is a POP artist but right now that urban edge is what sells POP music so she needs to embrace that again to her advantage. Without it, Glory was a decent album but no singles came out of it that could carry the sales of the album. Blackout had Piece of Me, Gimme More, and lots of other BOPs. Glory had cute songs for the fans but NOT BOPS.
