After missing a court date on Monday, Cardi B showed up today to for a hearing relating to an alleged strip club assault on Baddie Gi and Jade. Two women she suspected of sleeping with soon-to-be ex husband Offset.

In October, the rapper turned herself into police after news hit of altercation between the performer and two strip club bartenders in New York – in which the females sustained injuries. The mother of one is said to have commissioned her crew to and thus was charged with reckless endangerment and assault.

The star was due to attend court on Monday in relation to the case but controversially missed the appointment and was spotted filming a music video in Miami. Allegedly, she was told that her team had advised the court that there was a ‘previously scheduled’ engagement. In any case, she was subsequently warned by her court that she would likely be arrested if she missed her rescheduled date.

The ‘Bodak Yellow’ femcee thankfully kept her appointment today and was released with no bail as she wasn’t deemed a flight risk. Bardi was, however, given a stern warning to make no contact with the accusers, include threats on social media – and she is scheduled for another court appearance next month. [Source]

We love us some Cardi, but it is grating that on a day that should be about celebration (see: Grammy nominations) she’s in the headlines for yet more drama.

For her sake, here’s hoping she reins the antics so as to fully reap the rewards of her hard work. She’s winning, so she really needs to bask in it.
