Nicki Minaj‘s British fans have delivered an early Christmas present to the rapper today.
Though her work finds itself shunned by the powers-that-be at the Grammys, it holds a loyal and loving friend in the British public who have, for the umpteenth time this year, extended her record as the highest-selling female rapper in chart history.
Here’s how they did it…
The rapper has now logged 303 non-consecutive weeks on the Official Singles Chart and bagged her 33rd UK Top 40 months after the unveiling of her latest album ‘Queen’ which peaked at #5 on the albums tally.
Though none of the rapper’s albums have surpassed sales of Lauryn Hill‘s mega-seller ‘The Miseducation’, pure units amassed by her singles (solo and collaborative) are how she is officially the highest and fastest femcee of all time.
Her global sales figures soar even higher once they are garnished with her astronomical streaming figures and pure digits picked up by the likes of her radio hits ‘Roman’s Revenge‘, ‘Moment 4 Life’, ‘Super Bass’, ‘Anaconda’ and sleeper hits ‘Four Door Aventador’ and ‘Save Me.’
