The singer’s new album ‘Thank U, Next’ will slide into retailers on February 8th fronted by the album cover she released to support it today.
Leading its way are the smash hit singles ‘Thank U, Next’ and ‘7 Rings’, both of which sit alongside a track list made up of songs she penned to tell the set’s explicit and sensual story.

Sorry. You can’t make a whole album go hard for its campaign with videos performances etc, SCRAP the album and then come back two months later like “oh I love this, this is my fav”…. sis you have invested nothing artistically into this album. No time to actually sit on her “work”, create fresh ideas- nothing. She simply had another writing camp with a bunch of writers and had them drum up some generic music that blends in with the trends right now and she’s blending her last era right into this one. Down the road You will never be able to tell the difference in her eras. We will look back at all her music and it will all blend together like one big, long mediocre (but listenable) album with no visual or sonic distinction. She shouldn’t win ANY Grammys because she obviously doesn’t care about her album sweetener and decided she didn’t like how her fans were reacting and went back to create generic bops with her most basic vocal performances to date.
Lmao, drag a bit. Before Sweetener came out she said the same thing, swore up and down that it was her best album and she was making the best music ever and then when it didn’t perform she dropped it like a hot potato ? and didn’t wanna spend an entire world tour performing flops.
Damn I remember back when I used to drag Rihanna for being an add water and stir popstar. Now she’s looking better and better in comparison. She had the same writing camps cranking out bubblegum every year too but damn, at least she had some sort of vision and unique style. Ariana has the voice that Rihanna doesn’t but has no creativity or artistry whatsoever. What a waste.
Well Rihanna doesn’t have artistry either. She has a team that writes everything for her (which if she could really sing and was creative with her voice it may not be as bad but she can’t sing above average), a stylist that gives her looks and puts together her eras and her music is pretty generic yet listenable, also. A lot of her music is a “one big album” type thing, too. She never took breaks to live life and come back with a defined sound and artistically crafted tunes- she had writing camps every 6-8 months and churned our music of the trend, which is now forgettable. Rihanna and Ariana are kinda similar to be honest
Yeah I could’ve written that better. I agree with you. Rihanna is absolutely not the brains behind her operation. From her songs, to her clothes, to her visuals etc. I don’t consider her an artist herself. But I do think that she’s excelled off of OTHER people’s artistry. So there SOME artistry there, in her repertoire, it’s just not hers. Because I think she def has a defined sound, even if it’s a bad one, lol. She has one. And at least her band of artists actually created for her a lane in the industry. Even in spite of her poor vocal ability. She was still excelling for a longer period of time than 5 months between albums. She was still racking up number 1s. Ariana on the other hand has people doing this exact same thing, following the exact same formula with a better voice, but isn’t seeing the same success. I mean, she’s making songs that get forgotten literally within weeks. She’s releasing albums not even a year apart. So I was trying to say that they are doing the same thing, using the same mediocre approach to music, Ariana’s just doing it worse.

This woman is nothing more than a fad that will not be remembered for classic material she will be remembered for following the rules and trends not setting them which is sad because she will eventually burn herself out and the next popstar will be waiting in the wings ready to claim Ari’s spot.
