Cardi B continues to prove that her success is no fluke. And while her receipts are already all sorts of legitimate, she has no plans to stop stacking them in 2019.
For, quelling confusion, she has confirmed that a new album is incoming.

The reveal came during a recent Intstagram live session with fans.
When quizzed on the follow-up to Platinum selling debut ‘Invasion Of Privacy,’ the 26-year-old replied:
“Of course it’s going to be an album in 2019.”
She went on to elaborate, stressing that she’s angling for an April release:
“Hopefully I can get my album done around the same time that Invasion of Privacy came out (April). I don’t know how possible that’s gonna to be because I feel like I’m gonna be extremely, extremely busy.”
And she’s not kidding about busy times being ahead.
Beyond new music, the ‘Money’ maker is being primed to be a big part of the upcoming Grammy ceremony (where she is nominated for five awards). She’s also performing at a Super Bowl adjacent festival alongside Bruno Mars, and may well be appearing at the big game’s Halftime show too.

No no no no :/ it’s a mistake, she had such an acclaimed album last year that will be hard to keep up the consistency and good critics with a new one just this year.
I think every artists should wait at least one full year before recording new material just to collect inspiration and new ideias.
It won’t tire the market and prevent the artist himself of getting tired.

I might not be the biggest Cardi fan… but why hate? What did she do to you? She’s already made history. It will be a long time before another female rapper comes close to breaking her 3 #1 singles from a female record. Nicki never got one, MC Lyte, Salt n Pepa, Queen Latifah, Foxy Brown, Eve etc never got one. They are all legends.

Too soon for a new album. Invasion of Privacy is still fresh and moving number$$$$. Why not a deluxe version of Invasion of Privacy, or a Reload?
It’s pretty obvious she is gunning for Nikki record of 100 entries just like her and drake she had 25 entries in a year if she keeps this up she could get there in like 2 to 3 years easy . Plus I think they are trying to make Cardi a Rihanna ( back to back albums) .lastly every song on the album is certified so why not move on ?
But can she be consistant??? At the rate she is going don’t look so good espically since since all of her songs are sounding the same and she does not write her own raps. She should be thankful this is the streaming era or I highly doubt she would have this level of sucess.
