R. Kelly’s efforts to silence his sexual abuse victims have fallen flat once again thanks to Dream Hampton and the millions who are tuning in/engaging with her docu-series ‘Surviving R. Kelly.’
Now, the performer (who is said to be riddled with wild sexually transmitted diseases) has learned that the heat he is facing for his horrific acts is to intensify in the coming week.
Why? Because the marriage certificate he forged to force the late Aaliyah to sign when she was a minor has surfaced online.
The document was created in 1994 when Aaliyah was just 15.
However, as you can see, it claims she is 18 because that is the age Kelly wanted officials to believe she was so that he bypass the law and force her into an illegal marriage.
The union was dissolved with an annulment once her parents learned of this and talk that he had impregnated her.
Kelly’s former tour manager, Demetrius Smith, explained that after Kelly feared he may have impregnated Aaliyah while she was underage, marriage paperwork was forged and a secret wedding went down at a hotel room.
Even more horrific? The wedding was officiated by a “man of God” named Reverend Nathan J. Edmond and managed to take place without her guardians, her parents and uncle Barry Hankerson, noticing.

The song age ain’t nothing but a number tells it all. LIsten to the words of then 14 year old Aaliyah on that song. R Kelly wrote and arranged that song. I feel that Aaliyah’s mom feels embarrassed and doesn’t want to admit that she wasn’t always there.
A song is just a song. I remember when I was 10 or 11 singing the SWV songs Weak and DOWNTOWN and not having a clue what we were singing about. RnB music is feel good music. It appeals to all age groups and it is the overall melodies that are appealing to the youth while both the melodies and lyrics are appealing to adults. The whole world heard Age Ain’t Nothing But a Number and NO ONE made an issue out of the lyrics back then. The lyrics are not overtly suggestive. Plenty of songs are similar. “I’m In Love With a Man Twice My Age” is a popular reggae song that has been remade over and over and over. The lyrics are relateable to a lot of people.

It’s not “just a song” as the evidence is clearly showing. He was grooming this girl to be his wife at age 14. A 14 year old’s brain is not the same as an adults development-wise. Why is R Kelly the hill you choose to die on?
Caleb I totally understand what you are saying BUT where we disagree is on AGE. I think a 14 year old girl already has an adult brain. Most of these teenagers are gonna do what they gonna do anyway and aint sh|t a parent can do about it. Aaliyah was FAST. I love her but that is the TRUTH.

Ingredients
For the Ice Cream Cake:
Vegetable oil, for brushing
1 pint raspberry, passion fruit or other sorbet, softened
1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened
1 quart chocolate ice cream, softened
1 cup chocolate wafer crumbs (about 17 crushed wafers)
1 loaf pound cake
For the Meringue:
1 cup egg whites (about 6 large), at room temperature
Pinch of cream of tartar
1 cup sugar
Directions:
Make the ice cream cake: Brush a 3-quart metal bowl with vegetable oil; line with plastic wrap. Fill the bowl with scoops of the sorbet, vanilla ice cream and half of the chocolate ice cream, alternating small and large scoops to create a mosaic of colors and shapes. Place a piece of plastic wrap on top of the ice cream; press down to close the gaps between scoops and even out the surface. Remove the plastic wrap, sprinkle the ice cream with the wafer crumbs and re-cover with the plastic wrap, pressing gently. Freeze until set, about 30 minutes.
Remove the wrap and spread the remaining chocolate ice cream in an even layer on top of the crumbs. Cut the pound cake into 1/2-inch-thick slices; completely cover the ice cream with the slices, trimming as needed (you’ll use about two-thirds of the cake). Cover with fresh plastic wrap and freeze until firm, at least 2 hours or up to 2 days.
Make the meringue: Whip the egg whites and cream of tartar in a large bowl with a mixer on medium-high speed until foamy, about 2 minutes. Gradually beat in the sugar on high speed until the whites are glossy and hold stiff peaks.
Remove the top layer of plastic wrap, then invert the cake onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. (If necessary, let the cake stand overturned until it slips out.) Remove the rest of the plastic wrap and cover the ice cream completely with the meringue, making the dome-shaped top slightly thicker than the sides. Form swirly peaks in the meringue using the back of a spoon. Freeze for at least 3 more hours.
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees. Bake the cake until the meringue peaks are golden, about 4 minutes, or brown the meringue with a blowtorch. Let the cake soften at room temperature for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing. Freeze any leftovers.

Honey Baklava
Ingredients for Baklava Recipe:
You will need 1 (16 oz) package of phyllo (fillo) dough*; thawed according to package instructions *Fillo dough should be paper thin – even thinner than paper. Each package has 2 rolls with a total of 40 sheets. Do not use thick sheets of fillo dough for this recipe.
Also, don’t skimp on the butter or any part of the syrup (lemon juice, water and honey) since the recipe needs it to moisten and soften the sheets. Otherwise the baklava layers can end up dry and won’t stay together easily.
The chocolate is optional but a nice touch to fancy up a tray of baklava.
How To Make Baklava:
1. Thaw phyllo dough according to package instructions (this is best done overnight in the fridge, then place it on the counter for 1 hour before starting your recipe to bring it to room temp).
2. Trim phyllo dough to fit your baking sheet. My phyllo dough package had 2 rolls with a total of 40 sheets that measured 9×14 so I had to trim them slightly. You can trim one stack at a time then cover with a damp towel to keep from drying out.
3. Butter the bottom and sides of a 13×9 non-stick baking pan.
Start with your honey sauce (which will need time to cool as your baklava bakes).
1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup honey, 2 Tbsp lemon juice, and 3/4 cup water. Bring to a boil over med/high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved, then reduce heat to med/low and boil an additional 4 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and let syrup cool while preparing baklava
How to Assemble Baklava:
Preheat Oven to 325˚F.
1. Pulse walnuts about 10 times in a food processor until coarsley ground/ finely chopped. In a medium bowl, stir together: 4 cups finely chopped walnuts and 1 tsp cinnamon
2. Place 10 phyllo sheets into baking pan one at a time, brushing each sheet with butter once it’s in the pan before adding the next (i.e. place phyllo sheet into pan, brush the top with butter, place next phyllo sheet in pan, butter the top, etc. etc.).
Keep remaining phyllo covered with a damp towel at all times. Spread about 1/5 of n** mixture (about 3/4 cup) over phyllo dough.
3. Add 5 buttered sheets of phyllo, then another layer of nuts. Repeat x 4. Finish off with 10 layers of buttered phyllo sheets. Brush the very top with butter.
Here’s the order:
10 buttered phyllo sheets, 3/4 cup n** mixture,
5 buttered phyllo sheets, 3/4 cup n** mixture,
5 buttered phyllo sheets, 3/4 cup n** mixture,
5 buttered phyllo sheets, 3/4 cup n** mixture,
5 buttered phyllo sheets, 3/4 cup n** mixture
10 buttered phyllo sheets and butter the top.
4. Cut pastry into 1 1/2″ wide strips, then cut diagonally to form diamond shapes. Bake at 325˚F for 1 hour and 15 min or until tops are golden brown
5. Remove from oven and immediately spoon the cooled syrup evenly over the hot baklava (you’ll hear it sizzle). This will ensure that it stays crisp rather than soggy. Let baklava cool completely, uncovered and at room temperature
Tip: For best results, let baklava sit 4-6 hours or overnight at room temperature for the syrup to penetrate and soften the layers. Garnish baklava with finely chopped nuts or drizzle with melted chocolate. Store at room temp, covered with a tea towel for 1 to 2 weeks.

In my opinion, R. Kelly got Aaliyah pregnant and that is why they got married. To cover it up in case the media finds out and the media would never know how old she was, they would just follow what the marriage certificate says.
