Davido is proving that good music bulldozes barriers. Now more so than ever before.
A huge name in the Afro diaspora, the Nigerian wonder has been enjoying global success with his flavoursome sound – apparent on songs such such as ‘If’ and ‘Fall,’ the latter of which is gaining particular traction in the US.
For, after climbing to #29 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop tally, the track has become the longest (and thus the biggest) charting Nigerian song to chart on the coveted count.
Not resting on his laurels, the star is gearing up to shine in a major way Stateside by top-billing a show at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden.

In a playful exchange with his band The Compozers, Davido revealed that he’ll be playing the NY concert in November:
The gig will come after a sold-out show at London’s O2 Arena and a slew of high-profile festival dates this Summer – including AfroNation in Portugal this August.
