Ella Mai officially nabbed the title of “Grammy winner” last night, after taking home the honor of Best R&B Song for ‘Boo’d Up.’
But not one to rest on the laurels of her growing popularity, the British bred songbird nested on the Ellen stage today and offered up a live rendition of two of her notable numbers.
Both lifted from her self-titled debut, she performed ‘Boo’d Up’ and newest single ‘Shot Clock’ – the video for which has wracked up 12 million views since its release last month.
Watch the melodic medley after the jump…
Solid, as ever, from this super promising young talent.
She has such a soft tone that’s great to hear ??..
He might end up being a two -hit wonder. He has a nice clean cut image for a butch-queen.
She already has two hits, and working on her third. Oh yeah, don’t forget a Grammy. Stay pressed.
